On 18th June 1878 the fire for the first melting oven at Leerdam was lit.
The exhibition entitled 'The Successes of Leerdam' will present a picture of the development of this glass factory over the last 120 years.
In order to offer an insight into the various aspects of the factory's products, we shall be showing Leerdam's unica, pressed glass and packaging glass in addition to its glass tableware.
