Contemporary Norwegian Design
The Norwegian Peter Opsvik has been designing seating for 30 years. His best-known piece is the balance chair. His creations take the middle path between the 'rational' and the 'emotional'. Both aspects can be seen in the exhibition.
The rational designs are for industrial products, the emotional objects are made traditionally by craftsmen.
Movement is a central element in his work. The visitor will also be actively involved in the exhibition, which consists of three sections: activating the curiosity, understanding problems and showing solutions.
